- The VL series
was the final update by the General Motors (GM) Australian-arm of Holden and
the first generation of the Holden Commodore Architecture.
- These were a
range of very popular Australian mid-sized cars manufactured between 1986 and
1988.
- Here is some
little known data on the mighty VL.
- The engineers sought to soften the lines of
the VL, rounding off the panels and introducing a small tail- spoiler built
into the boot lid. A very Stylish Addition.
- For the VL,
Holden implemented rectangular-headlamps as opposed to the square-type fitted
to earlier models.
